What is PE-500 polyethylene?
It is a plastic that stands out for its very low absorption to moisture. Its main characteristics are its rigidity, tenacity and good resistance to wear and abrasion, due to its good resistance to chemicals. This material is insensitive to the attack of most acids and lyes. Technically it is compatible to be in contact with food.
What is Silestone®?
Silestone® is a mixture of crushed inorganic materials such as silica sands, quartz, glass, mirror and granite (85-95%), polyester resin (5-25%), pigments and additives (<5%). This surface provides an extraordinary hardness and resistance, together with the protection against bacteria, endow it with magnificent hygiene qualities. As it is a non-porous surface, it is highly resistant to stains of any product of daily use.
What is stainless steel AISl-304?
It is the most used material in the food industry, because it meets all the requirements to be in contact with food. It is a material with a compact surface, with very good resistance to corrosion, thermal variations and mechanical stresses. CLEANING: for ham holders with wooden bases or silestone: soap, water and an ammoniacal cleaner using a sponge or a damp cloth, avoiding exposing it to chemical products such as solvent or degreasers. The ham holders with polyethylene bases PE-500 can be introduced in the dishwasher, although an abusive use at temperatures above 60° can cause loss of brightness in its components, due to the high degree of aggressiveness of the detergents used in this type of household appliance
